Virsa is the first truly international Punjabi film with cast and crew from India, Pakistan and Australia. A Wize Mindz Entertainment production presented by One World Entertainment, Virsa will be shot extensively in Australia. It will bring together the best of the talent from these three countries to give the viewers of Punjabi films an international cinematic experience like never before.

Virsa also marks the launch of Aarya Babbar into Punjabi films. Having won critical acclaim for his work in Hindi films, Aarya Babbar now steps into Punjabi films with Virsa. Opposite him is Mehreen Raheal making her debut in films. A very well known model, actress, anchor and writer, she is one of the best known faces in Pakistan. Virsa is her first film and it will also introduce her to the Indian audiences. Another veteran Pakistani actor, Naumaan Ijaz, highly acclaimed and much feted in Pakistan but virtually unknown in India, will also be introduced to the Indian audiences in this film. Virsa also brings to India the foot-tapping music of Jawad Ahmad, the extremely popular and well-known singer-composer from Pakistan.
